A busy week....

Pascal and I had an interesting and busy week this past week. We were without power as of Monday night through Thursday night. It really makes a big difference as you do not have light, hot water, you cannot use the stove, the microwave, the coffee machine, the toaster, you cannot charge your phone or computer, and the land line phones do not work, etc. All that to say, we were very glad to have the power back Thursday night. What a blessing indeed. We thank God for the many modern conveniences that we have, but realize that He is ultimately in control of all things!

We both had the opportunity to do some yard work for two different families this past week as well. That was a blessing. I (Becky) also started volunteering at Choices, which is the crisis pregnancy center in Chattanooga. I am enjoying the training that I am receiving, and am looking forward to the opportunities to minister to women who are often facing difficult choices in life. Please pray that God would allow me to be compassionate and share His gospel of love, grace, and hope with these women in a loving way.

We had two meetings this past Sunday. It was a blessing to be with both of these churches. We are thankful that both were within driving distance from our home as well. Although we enjoy traveling, we enjoy being at home very much as well.

We also had the opportunity to speak to a college missions class this morning about the religious climate in Mauritius, how to best present the gospel there, and what pitfalls to avoid. We are very thankful for these opportunities where we can share with other young men and women.

Thanks for your prayers for us.
